That's what I love about Sundays!

Soo....Again...I am so terrible at this sort of thing. Maybe if I try to tell myself that it dosen't have to be a long crazy novel blog..that I will be more apt to do it. ??? Maybe.

Anyways, the girls and I have had a cold for the past week. I have been drinking Airborne to help at leadt knock some of the power out of the punch. I honestly beleive it has helped me...so I am a beleiver! The girls are getting better...they are on the tail end of the cold now thankfully.

We had church today and my sister led worship because I was just not feeling well enough to sing for 20 some mins. She did a great job...I wish I was as good as she is with it. Anyways, after church we got lunch and then I got dressed and forced myself to go into Chili's and see if someone wanted to give up their shift for tonight. Since we ended up not going to Lancaster to see Mark's family I didn't want to just sit at home and do nothing. We really needed the extra cash so off I went....and I lucked out and got someone who wanted to go home. Was actually worth it...we had a nice little pop and then I got home by 9:30ish. So it wasn't a bad night. :D Plus...I got off work early enough that I stopped and got some Rita's water ice for me and the girls! :D Yummm!!!

Now, I think I am going to get into PJ's and watch some Olympics and play some Sudoku and go to sleep! :D ....yes.....I am weird.

Bad at this!

Told you I am bad at this!!! 4 days without a post...good grief. This is why I can't seem to keep a journal or remembrance book or anything. I am just lately starting to work on Macy's baby book because I am afraid I am going to forget or lose something that has all the dates and stuff on it! I am not sure why but I have such a lethargic procrastination side to me...it is so sad and a trait that I really pray does not pass onto my children. oi!

I worked Thursday, Friday, and Sat nights this past weekend. On Sunday it was such a nice and relaxing day. We went to church and had a good service and then Mark, the girls and I all went to Chili's for lunch. I had a free dinner for 2 to use up from my birthday! It was sooo nice it included appetizers and any meal we wanted...so we both got steak and then dessert!!! mmmmm!!! Yummy! Once we were so stuffed we couldn't quite see straight we headed to the mall. I was in desperate need of jeans....so we searched a few different places and I found the perfect pair of jeans at American Eagle. They were even in short so they aren't way too long. The only thing that sucks is apparently the ripped jean look is in...which is so beyond my understanding you have no idea! I mean...that is the reason I am buying jeans right??...because my old yucky ones have holes in them???....and I come to the mall to buy new nice ones and they are selling pre-ripped jeans for like $50!!! WHY!!!!!!!!!????????? Why would someone waste money on ripped jeans!!!??? I just don't understand this crazy new trend and I have decided that maybe I should sell my old jeans that have rips in them to some of these crazy people that actually spend their hard earned money on pre-ripped jeans. Anyways....the jeans I got do not have rips or holes in them, but them do have where it looks like they intentionally pulled at the material in certain spots which so sucks and I was so upset about...but at least it isn't a hole and they just fit sooo nice and were like the perfect fit that I am just dealing with it. uggg!!!

We went home afterward and all of us laid down and took like a 2 1/2 hour nap. It was wonderful...I love family nap time it is so rare that it happens and I just love napping on Sunday afternoons anyway! So we all awoke refreshed and then we went over to the pond that is close by and fed the ducks and geese which was fun for the girls to watch and do.

Once I started to get eaten alive by mosquito's (which no one else was being bit ...only me...as usual!) we headed home and spent the rest of the evening watching some Loony Toon cartoons and playing with the girls until bath time and bed time! What a fun and relaxing day at the Miller's! I think this is what Sundays were intended to be...just relaxing family fun time.

Writing in purple makes me happy! : D

Well...let's see...I got 3 of the 6 rooms clean that I attempted yesterday...so that is accomplishment...right?....I am going to just tell myself that. :D We had service last night, and it went well...Mark sang a special for the very first time ...and he did so well!! I was so proud!

As for right now, I have gotten the girls breakfast and dressed for the day...now they are again playing with their toys and I am going to try and sneak away and get a shower. I have to work tonight (for those of you who don't know..I am a server at Chili's) so I have a list of accomplishments to do before I have to go to work. Oi!

Sorry it is kinda boring today....but it is busy and fun for me! The life of a mom! :D

Day One

So... I am extremely bad with sticking with things for a long period of time...but I shall attempt to do so through this blog. :D

If you are reading this, you most likely know me and who I am ...so I am not going to bother telling you anything about myself. Instead I am just diving right into the blog life of Jill! :D

We are now finally home for a day. We have been going and going with my family being up here visiting from TX. I hate the part when everyone says goodbye and life goes back to same old same old. So here I am ...back to my same old same old. :D The girls are watching TV and playing with all of Macy's new and fun toys she got from her 1st birthday party...so at least they are occupied. I have cleaned the kitchen...and now I have to make my way from room to room and get to the rest of the house!! oi!!

I think the hardest part of today will be not stopping to play my new found addiction...Sudoku! I am hooked and SO addicted!! It is so fun...but it sucks hours of my time up. So my plan...clean, lunch, put girls down for nap, get music together for tonight's church service, and then ....if I don't pass out first....Sudoku!! :D
